Teen Tuesday
At Bike4Life, our mission is to promote health, fitness, and community engagement among teens. We aim to provide a positive health and wellness program that allows teens to channel their energy, imagination, and creativity through physical fitness. At Bike4Life, we value six key objectives above all else:
1. Build a positive self-image
2. Create healthy eating habits
3. Strengthen mental endurance
4. Develop social skills
5. Reduce anxiety and depression
6. Teach the importance of physical fitness
The objective of this partnership with the Kalamazoo community to make a lasting difference in each student’s outlook on their health and future. It’s important, now more than ever, to address critical issues such as teen suicide and gun violence in our communities. We believe quality health education provides teens with alternative ways to express themselves and process the world around them. Our program is built to provide underserved teens with community support and health guidance.
